2025 Senior Orientation 1

The Senior Orientation Event, hosted by the Osage Nation Education Department (ONED), was a comprehensive experience for the incoming Class of 2025. In addition to receiving information about college and financial aid, students also honed their job readiness skills. They participated in workshops and an outdoor activity, gaining practical skills that will serve them well in their future careers.

College admission representatives from Tulsa Community College, Northeastern State University, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, and Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology presented information to the seniors about their schools. They discussed academic programs, student life on campus, and financial aid opportunities at each institution.

The Senior Orientation Event was not just about receiving information but also about active participation and engagement. In addition to learning about college life, students had the chance to express their interests, hobbies, and goals through creative activities. They created personal statements and collages, tie-dyed t-shirts, and participated in an outdoor team-building event featuring an inflatable water slide.

Several youth attended the Senior Orientation Event hosted by the ONED and gained valuable knowledge about planning for their future beyond high school. They also won door prizes and enjoyed lunch during the two-day event. This event should help these students prepare for their senior year of high school.
