Hominy War Mothers to host Veteran's Day Dance

The Hominy War Mothers will be hosting this year's Veterans Day Dance. Events will begin on Friday, November 11, with the flag raising by Post 198, at 11:00 am.; the afternoon Individual Songs will begin at 1:00 p.m.; Supper at 5:00 p.m.; and the War Dance at 7:00 p.m. Head Man Dancer is Nate West of Pawhuska; Head Lady Dancer, Jaelyn McMillen, Fairfax; Head Singer, Scott George. Masters of Ceremonies are Marvin Stepson, Fairfax, and Nick Williams, Fairfax. Arena Director is Anthony Gray, Hominy. The events will take place at the Wah Zha Zhe Cultural Center, 1449 West Main, Pawhuska, Oklahoma. All are invited to attend.
