Osage Nation Health System Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Counseling Center Complex
On Monday, July 22nd, the Osage Nation will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Counseling Center Complex in Pawhuska, OK. The ceremony, which will begin at 10 a.m. at 436 Elks Lodge Road (at the end of Elks Lodge Road), will celebrate the grand opening of the new Counseling Center Complex. The event is open to the public.
The Counseling Center Complex consists of a new adult residential treatment center, an adolescent treatment center, an adult transitional living, and a multipurpose administration and outpatient building. The development includes new access roads with approximately 22,500 sq. ft. building related infrastructure with five new facilities:
- Men’s PRT facility (approximately 4,500 square feet)
- Women’s PRT facility (approximately 4,000 square feet)
- Adolescent PRT (approximately 6,000 square feet).
- Men’s and Women’s Transitional Living (approximately 3,000 square feet)
- Outpatient Building (approximately 5,000 square feet)
$15,399,736 of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds were appropriated for the purchase and development of the property. ARPA funds were used due to behavioral health needs and public health impacts exacerbated by the pandemic.
