PIPES Act of 2025 – On September 11, 2025, T&I leaders introduced H.R. 5301, the Promoting Innovation in Pipeline Efficiency and Safety (PIPES) Act of 2025, a bipartisan bill to reauthorize the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s (PHMSA’s) pipeline safety programs for the next four years and provide an efficient, effective framework to advance the safety of U.S. energy infrastructure.

The PIPES Act of 2025 was introduced by Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO); Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Ranking Member Rick Larsen (D-WA); Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee Chairman Daniel Webster (R-FL); and Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee Ranking Member Dina Titus (D-NV).

On September 17, 2025, the Committee approved the PIPES Act of 2025 during a full committee markup.

The PIPES Act of 2025 builds upon H.R. 6494, the Promoting Innovation in Pipeline Efficiency and Safety (PIPES) Act of 2023, legislation introduced and approved by the T&I Committee during the 118th Congress. Bill Text

Potential GRID Resilience Support for Broadband Build-Out -  Is there any anticipated need, now or in the near future, for grid-side electrical resilience to support broadband opertions once the network is built out?

 

Osage Nation Code Chapter 15 ONUA. Section 15-102 Findings; purposes. A. The Osage Nation Congress finds that there is an economic need for the Osage Nation to establish a Tribal Utility Authority to regulate utility services to consumers located within the geographical boundaries of the Osage Nation.

 

Osage Nation Code Chapter 15 ONUA. Section 15-105 Organization and General Powers. B. The Authority shall not be limited in the conduct of its business to the geographical boundaries of the Osage Nation. The Authority may establish offices and operational sites within the boundaries consistent with prudent and economical management of the business.

 

Osage Nation Code Chapter 15 ONUA. Section 15-105 Organization and General Powers F. The Authority is vested with the powers, rights, functions, and jurisdiction to regulate and oversee utilities, including the power to grant franchise rights.
