Luttrell Park Groundbreaking

The Osage Nation announces a groundbreaking for the Richard White Luttrell Sr. Park to be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. The park is on the Osage Nation Ranch west of Pawhuska, OK (see map). The park is named in honor of the late Richard White Luttrell Sr., who consulted Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear in preserving the 3,500 parcel of the 43,000 Osage Nation Ranch into a dedicated space for wildlife habitat, a water and land conservation training for youth and a healing environment for Veterans mirroring Wounded Warrior nature sites.

All community members are invited to participate in this groundbreaking ceremony. Richard’s family will attend to accept the dedication and provide remarks.
