OSAGE NATION RESERVATION, OKLA. (January 21, 2026) — The Osage Nation is proud to announce the Wahzhazhe Youth Art Contest as part of the 2026 Osage Nation Sovereignty Celebration. The contest invites Wahzhazhe youth ages 4 to 18 to showcase their creativity and cultural expression through original artwork.
Participants may submit entries across multiple categories, including painting, drawing, graphic art, photography, and cultural arts such as beadwork, yarnwork, and ribbonwork. Youth artists are encouraged to begin working on their creations now in preparation for submission. Artwork will be accepted February 9–13 at the Osage Nation Visitors Center, located at 602 E. Main Street in Pawhuska. Drop-off hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. A parent or legal guardian must complete an entry and consent form at the time of artwork submission.
Closed judging will take place February 18–20. Selected artwork will be featured in a public display on March 5, 2026, at the Skyline Event Center at Osage Casino Tulsa.
The Osage Nation extends its appreciation to the Osage Nation Foundation for generously sponsoring the Wahzhazhe Youth Art Contest.
