Osage Nation excited about partnership with Scholarship America
The Nation continues to support college-bound students

Osage Nation, Pawhuska, Okla. (Mar. 16, 2015)—The Osage Nation is pleased to announce that Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America, will be taking over administrative duties of the Osage Nation Higher Education Scholarship Program.
Scholarship America is the nation’s largest non-profit, private-sector scholarship and educational support organization managing over 1,300 programs. Moving forward, Scholarship America will handle all communications; document processing, applicant evaluation and payments.
No administrative changes are planned for the following Osage Nation Department of Education Programs:
- College Graduation Commendation and Stole Program
- Internship/Externship Program
- Higher Education Application and Testing Fees Program
- Certification and Licensure Programs that are less than an Associate Degree
- Osage Scholarship Trust Funds
Important upcoming dates:
Late March, 2015—If you are a CURRENT PARTICIPANT in the Osage Nation Higher Education Scholarship, Scholarship Management Services will mail an application to you requesting information on your enrollment plans for summer session, 2015, and the upcoming 2015-16 academic year.
April 1, 2015—If you plan to participate in the Osage Nation Higher Education Scholarship for the FIRST TIME, you will have access to an online application where you can register with Scholarship Management Services for enrollment in the 2015 summer session or the 2015-16 academic year.
