Osage Nation’s Wahzhazhe Communications premieres The Osage Sovereignty Club: Our Government from 1872 to Now, a six-episode podcast series exploring the history, structure, and future of the Osage Nation government. The series drops on Friday, May 8, 2026, as a continuation of the Osage Nation's celebration of the 20th anniversary of the ratification of its Constitution.
Hosted by guest host Amy Farid, the series features conversations with Osage leaders, legal experts, and elected officials designed to deepen understanding of the Osage Nation government and the Nation’s continued exercise of sovereignty. Through historical reflection, constitutional discussion, and personal insight from Osage leaders, the podcast examines the evolution of the Osage Nation government from 1872 to the present day.
While government and constitutional topics are often viewed as complex, The Osage Sovereignty Club approaches them in an engaging and accessible way - offering listeners what the hosts describe as a “fun civics lesson” grounded in Osage history, humor, honesty, and real conversation.
