Carpenter is new Secretary of the Nation

On Monday, April 13, 2015, Osage Nation Principal Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear signed Executive Order No. 15-01, which ordered and directed that Greg Carpenter be appointed as Secretary of the Nation.

Today, Monday May 4, 2015, Greg Carpenter was sworn in as Secretary of the Nation at the Osage Nation Tribal Court by The Honorable Lisa B. Herbert, Associate Judge of Trial Court. Judge Herbert began the morning ceremony with a prayer.
