Media Assistance
What do we stream live?
Congressional Sessions are normally broadcast live via video and audio, while Committee meetings will be audio-only. Both are available on their live media page.
Minerals Council also broadcasts their meetings live. It will also be available their own live media page.
Live Media Information
Live audio automatically recognizes your device type and connection speed, and will serve the best quality audio your device and connection can handle. This means you can listen from your mobile, tablet, or computer. Live audio is available on our live media pages. The audio player provides a status message, which is either "off air" when we are not streaming, or it will display the meeting name when we are live.
Live video is currently served via YouTube, and also automatically recognizes your device type and connection speed. It will serve the best quality video your device and connection can handle. YouTube live streams are embedded in our live media pages, and are compatible with most mobile telephones, tablets, and computers. For more help with YouTube video, please see the official YouTube Help Center.
Archived Media
Locations serving archived audio and video footage use MP3 format for audio, and MP4 format for video. There are several popular media players available that will play these files, the most popular being VLC Player. VLC is available for most major devices and operating systems.
