Membership ID Card
The Osage Nation Membership Office is pleased to announce the release of new Membership ID Cards for enrolled tribal members. These updated cards strengthen identity verification, improve access to Osage Nation programs, services, and events, and help the Membership Office maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Like other state and federal IDs, the new cards include a photo, a member’s signature, and key identifying information, such as sex, eye color, height, and weight. These features help ensure accurate identification while enhancing security and authenticity. The cards also recognize military service by displaying a branch of service icon, branch type, and current military status.

Certificate Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB)
The Osage Nation Membership Department works with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) to process and issue CDIB Cards. Like the Osage Membership card, CDIBs require verification of lineal descent from an Osage listed on the base roll created pursuant to the Osage Allotment Act of 1906. The Osage Nation Membership Department does not issue CDIB cards and so cannot give a definite turn-around time for receipt of those cards. We do, however, research and process applications and can keep you updated on your status until the point we turn the file over to the BIA. Feel free to call one of our Membership/CDIB Technicians at the number(s) listed if you have any questions. We look forward to serving you.
