Do you want to learn how to prepare for any disaster (even
the unlikely Zombie Apocalypse)?
Come out and learn what YOU can do now to prepare!
Emergency Management and Public Health Nursing are offering a series of
Emergency Preparedness classes to help you get ready for anything!
This class will be an overview of all aspects of preparedness: The basics, Family
Emergency plans and drills, Water filtration systems and methods, Food for
emergency and long term, Bug-out or Shelter in place, Bug-out-bag and
Get-Home-Bag.
The upcoming months will be a series of focused classes:
Long term food storage – learn what food to start stockpiling, how to store food properly to last
a decade or more and make your own Meals Ready to Eat (MRE’s).
Water filtration – Learn how to make your own water filtration system on a budget and no
boiling!
Bug-Out-Bag – You may have to leave, what do you need to take with you? You will learn
basics of what to pack and give you great ideas to make your own Bug-Out-Bag.
