Osage Nation, Wah-Zha-Zhi Health Center - The Wazahzhi Health Clinic will continue offer full services to our patients during the “government shutdown”. Clinic management has reviewed our finances and believe that a reduction in services will not be necessary and that our current cash reserves/flow will enable us to continue at full operating capacity. Our 3rd party insurance collections have allowed us a financial buffer to continue providing all services until the U.S. Congress has approved a new spending bill or continuing resolution. The top four longest shutdowns have been 32 ,18, 16 and 13 days. The shortest four are 2 - 3 days each. Should the current shutdown stay within this range, no change in clinic operations will be necessary.
