How to File
- Establish a separate bank account for campaign purposes only in the name of the candidate or the candidate's campaign.
- From the campaign account, have a cashier's check or money order made payable to Osage Nation Elections for $300 for the filing fee.
- On the day of filing, bring to the Wahzhazhe Elections Office:
- Proof of Osage membership
- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of campaign bank account that shows the name and number of the account
- $300 cashier's check or money order
- Filing forms
- Declaration of Candidacy (Required to be signed in front of a Wahzhazhe Elections notary.)
- Campaign Manager or Committee Authorization
- Voter Registry Request

- Be an enrolled member of the Osage Nation
- Be at least thirty-five (35) years of age on the date of the election
- Have never been convicted of a felony
