Sheryl Decker is the Chief Executive Advisor to Chief Standing Bear. Before joining the Standing Bear Administration, Sheryl worked as legal assistant and office manager for the Standing Bear Law Firm. She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Oklahoma. Sheryl is responsible for maintaining the Chief’s calendar and works with the Chief of Staff in briefings for the Chief on all meetings which the Chief attends. Sheryl also is in charge of communications from the Chief’s office.
Sheryl is a graduate of Pawhuska High School. She and her husband have four children. Sheryl is great supporter of youth athletics. One of her goals is to see the Osage Nation develop an active youth soccer program and sports facilities.
