Osage Nation Education Department Receives Marathon Petroleum Grant
OSAGE RESERVATION, OKLA. (April 25, 2022) – The Osage Nation Education Department received an $80,000 grant from the Marathon Community Investment Program. The funds will be used to support supplemental educational opportunities for Native youth such as the Summer Youth Workforce Development Program, CareerTech, the CyberPatriot Program, and field trips.
“This new grant will allow us the opportunity to bring exciting new educational programs to our Native youth,” said Osage Nation Education Director Mary Wildcat. “I look forward to seeing our Native youth benefit from these new initiatives.”
The Marathon Community Investment Programs is committed to collaborating with stakeholders to invest in organizations and initiatives that make a positive, meaningful impact in the communities where they operate. The award letter states, “We are proud to support The Osage Nation. Best wishes for continued success.”
