How to Vote by Mail (Absentee)
All voters have the option to vote by mail, also called absentee voting.
PERMANENT ABSENTEE VOTER: Voters will automatically receive a ballot by mail for all elections. Ballots are mailed to the absentee address on record and are not forwarded.
TEMPORARY ABSENTEE VOTER: Voters will receive an absentee ballot for elections held within the specified calendar year listed on the form.

1. Request a Ballot
- Fill out and sign the application.
- For the 2026 election year, the deadlines are:
- Primary Election: *To be determined
- General Election: April 17, 2026 by 4:30 pm (CST).
- Applications to become a Permanent Absentee Voter can be submitted anytime for future elections if the deadline has passed for the upcoming election.
2. Send Us Your Ballot Application
Please return the completed application along with a legible copy of a government-issued photo ID. Voters are responsible for verifying delivery.

3. Complete and Send in Your Ballot
We'll send you an absentee ballot in the mail with a return envelope.
- Ballots must be received by the Pawhuska US Post Office by 10:00 a.m. on June 3, 2024.
