Clark Batson Sworn In as Osage Nation Treasurer

Clark Batson was sworn in today by Judge Lee Stout as the new Treasurer for the Osage Nation. The Osage Nation Treasurer is appointed by the Principal Chief subject with the advice and consent of the Osage Nation Congress. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2000, Batson is from the Zonzoli District and is a member of the Native American Church of Oklahoma. The University of Missouri Kansas
The BIA Indian Highway Safety Program(IHSP) is requesting your participation once again during the nation Click It or Ticket safety belt mobilization. The dates this year are May 11 through May 25, 2015. During the mobilization, tribal and federal officers will be cracking down on motorists who fail to wear their seat belts - both day and night.
